I think being against abortion should be argued on a scientific level and not religious or philosophical (although there is room for that.) Regardless of where the mother is in life, it does not change the fact that a potential person is being formed inside her….as a mother of two knowing how a baby develops and what one feels being pregnant I would say that the effects of a new life truly are felt around 2-4 weeks hormonally, emotionally and etc. but the bump starts around 13- 14 weeks (sometimes earlier). I felt flutters or quickenings/movement at 13-14 weeks. As someone who is not pro choice, I can see how someone would get an abortion before 8 weeks, sometimes it doesn’t feel so real at that point to be fair , but honestly after that and once one feels movement it’s really hard for me to grasp having an abortion. I don’t know if believe life is at the moment of conception but I do think it’s clear very quickly that it’s a potential person, and abortion should not be approached as a normal birth control method.

This is only one side of the argument. The right side of the political spectrum, want you to have families, because they know families seek order, and that's what they represent. The left does not want families, because single people embrace change(chaos), and that's what they represent.
