In the book of Revelation the Euphrates river isn’t to be taken literally. Remember what was literal in the Old Testament is spiritual and global in the New Testament. Revelation 17:15–16 tell us what the waters are that John saw. They are multitudes of people. So when it says in the book of revelation that the waters of the Euphrates dries up, it’s symbolic for the people following the antichrist. Support for the antichrist will cease as people will realize that it’s not the sabbath keepers that are causing the plagues. It’s the antichrist/papacy.
