I’m a BB under Fabio Araujo under Carlson Jr. I haven’t trained in 3 yrs. I went like an animal for 10 yrs then kind of got burnt out. I had my hip replaced now my other one is killing me. I guess I’ll be rolling again w 2 replaced hips

asking Jean-Jacques Machado whether Joe Rogan is good at Jiu Jitsu is like asking Scottie Pippen if Michael Jordan can play ball … this is why I prefer Japanese martial arts over this Brazilian trash, there is zero hierarchy or boundaries between master and student, mutual respect nothing wrong with that but there has to be a clear line that can always be crossed, and Brazilians don't have that, you can never be buddybuddies with your masters, it creates a false sense of comradery, it makes you look and sound gay for eachother (and not in the good way), and it's pure cringe to listen to
