  1. If Republicans were really pro-life they would support free healthcare for all citizens. Instead, like Democrats, they are ***ONLY*** pro-corporation, swimming in Big Pharma bucks in favor of profits only for themselves and their buddies, ergo they are worthless neoliberal oligarchs like the other party they claim to be soooooo much better than. Think about how many pharmaceutical commercials run on every major news channel in America, including Fox News (especially Fox News. They sell lots of phony baloney dietary supplements, too.)

The fact is, Republicans and Democrats are both currently bought by government-sanctioned drug companies. If Republicans really want a meaningful edge over Democrats in the future, they need to drop worthless filthy gimmicks like 45, put Big Pharma in its place and hop on universal healthcare instead. They could be Bernie bros, but they choose "waaaaah Communism" as a lazy excuse not to be, even though it absolutely fits with the unearned "pro-life" label. Think of the bragging rights Republicans would actually have, succeeding where Obama failed (and no, the thing the orange one attempted to pass but John McCain reasonably voted "No" on doesn't count. We don't want to go back to what we had during Bush's administration either.)

Until Republican politicians get on the same page as Bernie here, there's nothing "pro-life" about them. That's my hot take and I'm sticking to it.

  2. If a politician accepts money from a pharmaceutical company company then uses political power to enhance or protect the companies position that politician must be held to account for the crime e committed.

  3. If drug companies in Australia tried to buy politicians to influence policy there would be hell to pay. We have laws to stop that sort of thing it’s basically bribery. Politicians here must disclose political donations so any conflicts of interest can be identified and acted upon.
