I don’t think people realize how complex the tax code is and how incredibly difficult it is to change it. It was flawed from the beginning and someone needs to take on the task of changing it. He’s making it seem like removing credits or adding a new tax for corporations will fix things. He needs to be more honest that this is likely something that would take decades to do. It’s also not something corporations can easily do. Sure they may lobby but that doesn’t mean they have been able to significantly change the tax code. This is not new….the code was flawed and in their favor from the start. I feel like Bernie’s message is somewhat misleading.
