Your issue is with one specific form of tax corporation tax on corporate profits. 1. One of the reasons it does not pay taxes on corporate profits is because its business model works on cashflow i.e. being paid upfront and paying its suppliers in arrears. 2. The company is rapidly growing and there are a number of tax incentives to encourage growing companies namely claiming back the cost of buildings up front as against corporate taxes as the company is constantly expanding and building new buildings it can use this offset, however it is paying payroll taxes and employing millions of people whilst doing do. Finally its taxes on corporate income for non US sales, these are taxable when the funds are repatriated to the USA. Amazon is not repatriating this money but why should the politicians try to get their hands on money not earned or made in the USA.
