The human body is a wonderful machine that man has nor devil has been able to duplicate. As King David said " I was fearfully and wonderfully made", and "what is man that you would care for him" paraphrased but the idea is there. We are small, weak compared to many things, yet he cares for us. If you don't believe that we are small, just look out the window of an airplane as it goes up and see how quickly people disapear from our vision. We can't see other people below after we get a certain height and cars start to look like ants.
You're talking about the eye and I'm looking at the picture, it's even ribbed which an eye has layers going out from the center(pupil), then iris (coloured muscles, then there is a lense (clearcovers outside of eye, and the white part of the eye, etc.). Something that my Opthomologist (is a specialist, not optometrist, which isn't as indepth a doctor), said to me was " the eye is intimately connected to the brain( I guess that she meant a type of damage to the brain). If something effects the eye it can effect the brain". That's why a sty or any eye affliction is important to see a doctor about, esp. for diabetics. I think of God the Father as the mind of God, so messing with his people is like poking him in the pupil of his eye. There's the "apple of his eye". his pupil. Looks right down in the middle of the tent of meeting/tabernacle in the wilderness.
