I disagree with joe here. This issue with what Neil says here is he is unnecessarily downplaying what happened by diverting attention. Poorly timed tweet, I agree that he apologised though and now ppl should move on from the tweet.
I get what they're saying and somewhere agree but there's an extent. Not all things that are true should be said. If your mom dies, at the funeral I could say, she was a fat ugly bitch who died broke, it'd be true, but would it be necessary and appropriate given the social context? Fuck no. Sure he didn't say anything "wrong" but he just didn't need to say it at all.
