Where in Scripture, does it say that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was banished with the apostle John, to the island of Patmos? Yes, Jesus did ask John to take care of his mother (who would have been around 50 yrs old) after his death on the cross. However, her being exiled to Patmos, I believe is not Scripturely accurate. In addition, John was not young when he was exiled and Mary more than likely was passed on. If someone has some 'credible' info regarding this, I'd love to know. Thanks
