I use to hear Pastor Evans radio just about everyday I went to work along with Pastor John MacArthur.
The prayers of the righteous avail to much and keep him in prayer and his family too.
God will forgive him because he is a faithful God and he is seeking Gods forgiveness and did the right thing in stepping down and now a great example for all pastors. But there are many who are disqualified but are still preaching. May God get ahold of them too.
Jesus didn't send the Samaritan woman to the repentance closet! He forgave her sins & said "go & sin no more". Why is it the church is notorious for eating their wounded? The RELIGIOUS SPIRIT needs tobe driven from the body of Christ, His church.
He's an example even in his sin. May he be restored.
