All these folks saying “I quit such and such party over this one issue!” You folks are the MOST brainwashed. Stop looking at parties like teams. You don’t believe the major tenants of either ideology then switch all of it tomorrow because you don’t like trans people or you just don’t like mean texts. The truth is that you never cared about anything either way, and you just need a team to root for. You don’t upend an entire ideology overnight because you are annoyed by certain people. Joe, I love you, but conservatives get mad at the retiring of peanut mascots. They burn their yeti gear over some nonsense. They go on and on about war on Christmas and boycott Starbucks over coffee cups. They just tried to ban a kids book on Tennessee about MLK jr. calling it crt and anti white. Conservatives live off of outrage culture. You tend to be a rational person that looks at situations objectively. If you are throwing outrage culture solely on the feet of the left, you’ve started to give in to right wing brainwashing. They will be on about the war on Christmas this week. If they haven’t already started.
