Sorry Dan, I am very happy living in Canada and buying medication (we negotiate our prices). Pretty much every other western country has access to good medications, and the USA isn't the only country doing research on new pharmaceuticals. Point = Americans are getting screwed and sorry to say it, corporate greed, corruption snd a lack of care for those Americans most in need is at the core. Having a well educated (affordable or free postsecondary education helps) populous is a good start, but it's going to take a long time to fix America (as we all agree there are massive problems) while America's influence and as a result, the fate of the world hangs in the balance. And it all comes down to greedy fuckers. I know that's cliché, but that's pretty much it. And Dan I don't think you are one of them. Unfortunately those fuckers are not exclusive to the US and there are even worse actors on the world stage. America, please find a way to be a better place for all our sakes.
