The 2008 Republican candidate lost an election and graciously conceded. The 2020 Republican candidate lost an election and spent two months trying to subvert democracy, incited a riot at the Capitol with his rhetoric, didn’t go to the inauguration, and still denies he lost, and his party purges itself of anyone who criticizes him for that awful series of events.
Now…the 2020 Democratic President…is the 2008 Vice President.
