People wanna see the closest thing to professional fighting as possible, it's pretty simple
I don’t think KB never really took off because the gloves make it Similar to boxing so to the casual viewer it looks like not very good Boxing with a few kicks, Where MMA gloves change the dynamics completely.
Mma more realistic to a street fight situation than kick boxing.
MMA just looks cooler tbh
