I lost a friend when I first started doing good for myself; they became pretty hostile over my good news & it got to the point where I would just hide whatever was goin on but I could still see it under the surfsce; got progressively worse till said person lost their job & went off the rocker. Cut em off. Like Joe said, it doesnt matter if you respect someone or you're their friend, if they are doing nothing but burning things around them you need to distance.
