I loved Rage, the original Rage. It was a masterpiece to me. I loved that dark grimy Mad Max esque world, how ammo was scarce, and you needed to be creative in combat.
Also from a gamers perspective Rage ended out of no where making you feel like there was much more game left than there actually was. Plus the ending was just plain bad.
rage was awesome
Rage was a technical marvel – it looks stupendous even on older consoles. The issue was that when ID gave control to a larger label then they could not maintain their own standards anymore. The 60 FPS per second cap made a huge difference.
I just finished Rage for the third time. This time I played it on PC and it was awesome. I've always felt that the ending was rushed and the reuse of locations for missions kept it from reaching its true potential but the atmosphere and character animation is so good.
