I imagine it’s easier to quell any feelings of inadequacy and resentment that social media tends to foster when you literally coded Doom
Groups of people formed companies. Those companies formed social media with all its stupid content. Small collectives of ordinary people chose to use social media, mesmerized by its stupid propaganda content. Ordinary people chose to put all the media blame on "social media" like other forms of media, movies, television programs, etc, don't indoctrinate with propaganda techniques too. Ordinary youtube fans chose to frequently watch every insipid youtube video even though tutorials are really the only beneficial stuff from youtube (developing new skills) and youtube fans chose to so hypocritically whine about social media despite that youtube…is a social media site!! And ordinary people chose to cite the spin argument of, "Oh, goodness me, the media is controlling our minds!" which is spin precisely because they themselves chose to media addict themselves and chose to never do anything to wean themselves off their addiction. People chose to pollute to the point of a climate crisis of global warming. People chose to ignore the climate crisis. While those in government power chose to use psychiatry for spin, keeping people subjugated to a ruse designed to support government interests, designed to put labels on everything, validate their psychiatric opinions as absolute, determine all actions as "not actions and choice, an illness" and get money (pseudoscience religion) people chose to buy into this so transparent ruse and repeat the same mistakes over and over like a raving lunatic. People will be the demise of the world. Not superstition like some brand of rapture, or end of a Mayan calendar, or whatever else religion-related. Not some psychiatric hysteria. Not media. People. Their blinding religious beliefs included. Won't miss 'em when they're gone either.

But here's the thing, the algorithms know what you used to search for even if you don't want to search for that anymore and you're locked in so if you start looking at things like art or science it will always pop up some shirtless photo of some guy or girl and it will do it over and over.
I agree with the guest. It’s really what your algorithm looks like. You can have an educated algorithm or a toxic junk filled algorithm.
