Anxiety is wisdom without experience.
This guy gives me anxiety
Because Adam and Eve were brought up…Fear and angst didn't come with the existence of choice. Fear and angst came with the existence of choice outside of God's guidance. Choices were presumably made before the fall without fear or angst. Only after the fall, which shattered their experience of security in relationship to God, did they then experience fear and angst. When we try to understand, dissect, unpack these concepts that are meaningful to man on the basis of a view of the universe that says meaning is arbitrary, it always descends into the absurd. The conversation then, no matter how serious, academic or intellectual always ends with a kind of nervous chuckle which says "Everything points to something really profound and meaningful, if only we really believed that reality was meaningful". These issues are thousands of thousands of years old. Only the language and the details have changed. It's just amazing how we've run so far so fast and have essentially remained in the same place, whether naked in the garden of Eden or flung across the global internet. The same fundamental issues.
