People who glibly write off LGBTQ, gender dysphoria, etc. as being "abnormal" just cannot grasp the sheer complexity of what is involved in just being human.
Nonsense, both hemispheres have language its just the right has no speech. Babies right hemisphere develops and they can understand but cannot speak because the other hemisphere is underdeveloped.
I have a VNS implant in my chest and it sends an electrical shock to my vagal nerve every 3 minutes that affects my voice. I had to get it because my epilepsy was too crazy. It was either brain surgery or an implant in my chest.
I’m a space nerd through and through.
But mulling over the idea of the conscious vs. the subconscious is about as taxing in the brain as trying to comprehend infinity or what could happen inside a black hole.
What an episode.
I have focal epilepsy with generalized tonic clonic seizures, which in short means I can be awake but totally not compos mentis and do strange things that starts in the one hemisphere of the brain……. Then spreads to the both sides of the brain that's when I go ridged and fall and starts seizing. It also messes with your heart as I've flat lined too! It's a strange sensation because you can't control anything.
