High sensations seekers it’s an actual way certain people mind think. Instead of cortisol they get dopamine during high stress high stimulus situations
Maybe he feels calm because his mind has to be totally present in the moment during a climb and there is no space to think about anything else. Similar to drawing or playing an instrument your focus is on one thing, you get in your flow and all other mental clutter goes away temporarily.
Thrill seeker-adrenaline junkey, all the same addiction as dope junkey. Chasing a high that usually ends with suffering a loss of life. Just for a moment of bliss.
It’s more the mental empowerment that comes from mastering your physical body and doing something difficult and scary rather than the thrill you get from feeling like your about to die that is the draw. It’s overcoming the fear response not the fear response itself.
Women are attracted to men who are thrill seekers. Men are attracted to women with big b**bs.
