As a doctor I’ve seen the politics of benzodiazepines. For 30 years we prescribed them like candy. Paxil was marketed as an anti-anxiety drug…which it not. At the same time docs suddenly stopped prescribing benzos. Very few docs have a clue how to safely taper off a benzo. So we threw a huge number of people into withdrawal when we switched from Valium to Paxil. Tge SSRIs are much more dangerous than benzos.
Strange Drug…Does Not Make You Feel High…Yet You Bump into Everything…Slurring Your Words…Cant Remember Half The Things You Did Previous Day/Night….Once You Quit The Drug it Feels Like You Were in a Diff Universe…Was Not a Big Fan
I take xanax, it works if you actually use it as medication when you're having extreme panic attacks. I can see why it would be addicting and believe me if I took it everyday I would be. But I only take it when I have to. At the end of the day it's medication, it's there to help.
Exercise/lifting, Sunlight, No Sugar, Hydration, and some supplements like Ashwaghanda, Fish Oil, etc, and you will be anxiety free and possibly even superhuman.
