Growing Up Spiritually
The scripture is, basically, an attitude adjustment handbook – that only the truly humble can understand (correctly).
It gives a solemn warning right from the start that we should avoid anything that has the mixture of lies and truth because this will cause delusion.
Tree = source of information
Knowledge of good = truth
Knowledge of evil = lies
Fruit = theories / doctrines
Sin = delusion (spiritual death)
This means any philosophy, religion, book, science, video, person etc that teaches a mixture of lies and truth can lead you to spiritual death (delusion).
If you know how to apply the Name of the Most High to the forehead: you can discern which fruit has the mixture of both lies and truth – and act accordingly.
For example … the mainstream church asserts Jesus (who's Name is Yâhusha) was born of a virgin – yet the scripture tells us Joseph had two angelic visitations.
The first time: he was awoken, from a deep sleep, and told to impregnate Mary.
The second time: he was told, in a dream, not to put Mary out.
The 'virgin birth' doctrine has a truth (Yâhusha was born) and a lie (of a virgin) – mixed to create a fruit that has caused the Children of Light to go into apostasy.
Why am I telling you this?
To be free sin – is to have no delusions that cause us to justify wicked behaviour.
Every loving Father is patient with a child that strives to walk upright. He will love you even when you stumble – because He understands it's not easy to walk upright.
He understands it takes practice.
However, He will get cross if you throw yourself to the floor, in a tantrum, and refuse to walk – just as any parent will.
Therefore … I urge all to learn how to apply the Name to the forehead – to "come out of her my people" (as spoken of in the Book of Revelation) – for there are many false doctrines that need to be rooted out.
False doctrines are considered whoredom – idolatry – so they are just as bad sexual immorality.
Study the scripture with humility – so the Holy Spirit may bring you to correct understanding.
