That's true
I am finding that lately when I have resentment, unforgiveness, bitterness and generally bad feelings about someone, the thought arises "this will hinder me from being who I could be in God. this will prevent me from receiving what I need in my life, this will hinder my prayers" and even "I don't want to end up in Hell over this offense". When that happens I can release the incident and the person and move on. It doesn't happen like that all the time, however. Sometimes I nurse and rehearse the offense. Now if I make myself sit down and reason out the ramifications of holding onto offense, I can let go much easier. And now I've added another step…I think about how I may have offended that particular person and even other people. I have noticed when I do that, I realize others have been patient and kind towards me and I can let go of my unforgiveness a lot easier. It is a real process for me but I am learning how to forgive and let go!
I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation.
But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏
I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. ✝️
