Ugh this whole " sacred ground " bs. On one hand love our country and how people can believe whatever they believe. However, I hate that people believe the wrong, arguably useless shit that halts the progression of knowledge for our species. The moutians sacred? Then have its power start answering our questions that we have in ANY COPACITY, and contribute something other than making you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Cuz we invented shit that can do that too, it's called drugs. Drink a few brewskis and watch how football becomes sacred too. Smoke a bowl and watch how whatever album you put in shows how it was created by a God. Drugs; doing them essentially contributes the same thing your sacred moutian does, except it doesn't stop scientists from the land that helps them progress. It may only hault your own progression and not the rest of us. Just my opinion tho. Could be as wrong , perhaps it was drugs that got yall thinking this moutian was sacred in the first place.
Democracy is NOT majority rule… yes, the majority may make SOME decisions – but there is also a constitution and the judiciary to PREVENT the majority from exploiting, enslaving or killing minorities. Minorities are protected in a democracy and therefore it is not the absolute rule of the majority.
