Hey, I have followed you guys for about 3-4 years and this is the first time that I've heard that "God temps". James says βLet no one say when he is tempted, βI am being tempted by God,β for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he, Himself, tempts no one.β Testing to see if we will obey God's voice is one thing, but calling it "tempt" and applying it to God's character is wrong. Call it a test of obedience because God has shown you His will which is futuristic and within His will. Of course, Abraham had to have already seen God's will about His Son and the importance that He believed in Him that had called him to see His will. So that he, Abraham could have the courage to go and obey God's will concerning his only son. He believed God when he raised that dagger to the point of lowering it with the intent to kill his son and God interceded and stopped Abraham before he violated even God's commandment "Thou shall not murder! Even though this law was given later to Moses. God could not permit this to go on. Yet, if Abraham succeeded in killing his son, God could give him life and bring Isaac's life back to him. "God temps" is wrong, drop this terminology, "God does not tempt, however, God does test your obedience." This has nothing to do with tempting! Satan tempts. Thanks for this video because other than the word "God tempts", I have and will continue to watch your videos. God Bless NYSTV!
