Creator of all people, sometimes I become so focused on the differences that exist between me and those around me that I forget how very much we have in common. Of course, we all need food, water and shelter, but we also long for kindness, love, and attention. Each of us wants to be acknowledged and valued for who we are. Help me Lord, to treat all people with the respect they deserve as your priceless creations. Remind me that you gave your life for each one and that to each one, you unfailingly extend your love. I detect some 'wokeness' in this! Why are you bringing up air pollution, garbage, and oil spills along with farm chemicals in a devotional about the Lord's Prayer. Obviously the speaker here has more than one agenda. Quite a stretch from "Give us this day our daily bread".
