There is no such thing as an exact calculation. There are only approximations. We cannot even calculate Pi… the ratio of a radius of a circle to its circumference.
The smartphone analogy is correct but misrepresented. When you interact with your phone you are only dealing with the software. The real work is going on within the hardware. That is a better description of quantum mechanics. What is going on at the sub atomic level is hardware. We know how to use it, but what is really happening at the sub atomic level is still mirrors and magic.

physics in fact don't give an explanation…it moves causality up .. in a word…you will , likely, never understand.. why …if you ask a physicist why…he will say a physicist will say initial state causality ( laws of physics) … final state…and then you ask why the initial state. .up to the big bang…
