Vinny is dead on with his psychology, no mystery as to how he's here, just incredibly humble.
Joe your pod cast are like therapy for me its my news beyond the news great work
As a former wrestler at least I felt the biggest mental mistake was to over study your opponent- at least for me if I studied them too much then I started to trust study over sensory instincts- you have to in tune with your senses and get great at responding in the moment – essentially “everyone has a plan until they get hit” then that’s when the match really starts. The other big thing for me was mentally coming back after a physical injury. 9th grade I had a perfect record and then snapped my collarbone and an elbow ligament, and then 11th grade training for nationals I snapped my ankle and damage the nerves in my foot and had to essentially relearn how to walk on that foot again. I couldn’t get over how the sport I had love had “taken my legs away” (was totally fine 8 months later though) and couldn’t get that thought out of my mind and I just decided to not wrestle senior year. It took years, maybe 8-9 years later, before I felt like could and wanted to get back out on a mat again.
Whomever is reading this remember to spread as much LOVE AS POSSIBLE, don't litter, help out the homeless and take of nature please it's really important we gotta take care of eachother and mother earth. thank you and have a blessed life ❤
