Jose was the 1st 40/40, however Bobby Bonds (Barry's dad) would have been the first but 1 HR wasn't counted because the game was rained out. Of the other 40/40's, until Ron Acuna jr became the first 40/70 this year; Alfonso Soriano was the only 40/40 not on steroids (A-Rod and Barry Bonds were the others.) Ron Acuna jr may be the first member of the 40/40+ club to make it into the HOF if his career lasts and he doesn't do anything wrong or slow down too much.
I remember the ball bounced off his head for a home run. Lol
Canseco would be a great guest on the podcast and I’m curious as to why it hasn’t happened. He was called a liar by so many mlb players and management, yet it all came out to be true. He’s the Bob Lazar of baseball!
