This is bizarre I'm actually at the warehouse where all the black keys instruments and lighting have been stored its stinks in here…its mixed with other stuff like old DJ equipment and then I'm watching this..

(It's been reported that labels will often sign an artist with some money and a contract only to keep them from ever competing with their interests.) Is there a way to take down a Label that secretly has another band or artists interest in mind or to even discern if they actually have your interest? Obviously talent speaks but it seems more for labels that impressions speak. So that being said an upcoming artist with vast creative potential but limited impressions gets hit with some deals, to discern if the label really wants you cause they see future clout or they want to ploy their other more successful artist, leaving you "shelved", is something I'm wondering. Might need a lawyer every time a contract is thrown.
