It can be so annoying when even reviewers mention diverse casting as a positive thing for a movie or a series and I just can't wrap my head around this. How does a diverse cast alone makes something better?? Sometime it makes it even worse in my opinion. I like Idris Elba and I don't have anything against Tessa Thompson but how on earth does it makes sense that a black man plays a Norse god? If they put white actors to play citizens of Wakanda that would have been dumb too but of course that wouldn't have been acceptable in Hollywood but the opposite somehow is.
Black people can be racist in comedy with every race. If you even mention a black guy in a joke and you are any other race, you are walking on a thin tight rope.
