  1. I wouldn't mind learning jiu jitsu. Too bad I'm Jewish so I'm not welcome there. Why would I say that, you ask? Let's review:

    1) every single Jiu Jitsu person I know enjoys ridiculing Krav Maga, a martial art that is literally our pride and that was designed during WWII to defend ourselves against the Nazi regime … how can I join a group of people who deliberately try to lowball and disrespect our system of self defence and combat just to promote their own, and -speaking of WWII and nazis – far more important still:

    2) I (as well as many other people within our Jewish community) are well aware of Renzo Gracie's insensitive gesture towards us by quoting Heinrich Himmler, the literal leader of the SS movement and 2nd in command behind Adolf Hitler himself … when he was confronted for this, not only did he refuse to apologize, but to add salt to injury, he doubled or even tripled down on his statement by claiming it wasn't his fault that countless nations simply allowed the Germans to invade their puny nations without a fight … furthermore, we are also more than aware of his physical escapades (picking fights with bouncers at night clubs and even picking fights with random strangers on the New York city subway, he was even arrested at least once because of it), not to mention the controversial and highly questionnable outcome and shameful practises during the 1997 MMA fight in Brazil against Eugenio Tadeu … all of this leads me to believe that this individual only cares for himself, has zero humility, respect or honour (ironically, the very same values the Gracies love to preach so badly) towards his fellow man, especially Jewish people, and it's also no secret that there are tons of rumors that many former nazi soldiers fled to Brasil after WWII had ended and the Third Reich had fallen … so it makes perfect sense that the Gracies and – by extension – Gracie or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (all schools are connected with the Gracies, Renzo included, one way or another) have anti-semitic politics, values and propaganda going on … for this reason i can tell you that many people in our community avoid Jiu Jitsu like the plague because the last thing we need after 5000 years of being abused and hunted down like cattle is another group of highly influential and powerful individuals low key trying to do the same, we don't feel safe, that's why we have little choice but to look for grappling specific alternatives elsewhere that aren't associated with any of this.

    3) And last but certainly not least, a lot of white supremacists/skinheads/neo-nazis also practice bjj … that alone is more than enough reason for us to stay clear of bjj. The way bjj is expanding, the way propaganda and marketing of bjj is growing, it's no different from nazi propaganda back in the day … sounds like a shady and dangerous cult/movement, not unlike the Hitler movement.

  2. Krav maga is not a self defense art, because in order for krav maga to work, to have to strike first, meaning throwing sucker punches. If you want to be an asshole bully, learn krav maga

  3. Did Krav for 2 years. It was the most intense physically demanding thing I've done. But having my shoulder pop out over a supposed kidnapping situation, with two guys grabbing each arm, was pointless. After witnessing a guy snap his ankle over a "wrestling drill", I quit.
