Moana isn’t about Hawaii, it’s about Samoa. In Samoa it was big news when I lived there, when you walked through a village you almost always heard that movie playing from the different houses as the kids always wanted to watch it. They were really happy that a movie had been made about they’re culture and country.
I hope the people protesting in Hawaii were some white woke kids not realising that movie isn’t about Hawaii at all. That would make me giggle.
