  1. Great message and love the sharing of your experiences every time Ps Doug. Regarding the story of the crucifixion in the Philippines, I believe it is Pampanga or Pangasinan? Not too sure as well. But having mentioned that, I know that many people in the Philippines chose to be crucified several times so that they may be free from guilt and sin, as payment for their sin for the previous year if I am not wrong but sadly, whatever they do and have done, I believe it is nothing compared to the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus on the cross. From my understanding, Jesus’ flesh was like “ground meat” when He was whipped with torture instruments similar to the movie the Passion of Christ. I don’t think those who went through the crucifixion in the Philippines have gone that far, that their bones would show due to the torture. But it is interesting how different people understand the crucifixion and the purpose of why they do it.

  2. It is common amoungst us to hear that Jesus began to suffer when he enterado the garden how does this relates to matt16:24. If the Cross represent (self denial) then we need to lift up Jesús this way so ppl will be drawn more by understanding Just what gal2:20 says.
