The (King-Priesthood) split… the Kingship went to Judah and the Priesthood went to Levi. This is what Hebrews Ch. 4-8 is talking about. It's not talking about replacing the covenant, it's talking about the problems within the Levitical Priesthood. Hebrews Ch 8:8 reads " for finding fault with them " (the Priesthood), not it, the covenant. The previous chapters established them as being the Priesthood, and that they had their faults…And, the word Covenant is italicized, which means it was added in. When you replace the word Covenant with Priesthood, it all becomes clear, since chapters 4-8 is talking about Priesthood. Hebrews ch 8:10 reads " I will put my laws into their minds, and write them in their hearts". Question, what laws if the laws of His Covenant were gotten rid of.
