I loved what you had to say about so many things here. However, the quotations from Hebrews were just so wrong. Hebrews was written, according to Tertullian, by Barnabas, who was among those at Pentecost, however he seems to have turned toward a Gnostic bent. What he wrote in Hebrews is thoroughly in line with Gnostic views at the time, that God died and Jesus was resurrected, setting aside the old inferior covenant and aligning with a new covenant and a new God, Jesus. In the new covenant, all things become lawful, as Paul said. The scholar, Elaine Pagels, has shown, by the way, that a Gnostic interpretation of Paul's letters is more reasonable than an Ebionite interpretation, which was the orthodoxy of that time. Paul also says that God died, in Romans 7:1-6, and thus made people free from the law and free to marry Jesus. I don't know how to say it nicely, but all that sounds quite insane. I love Yahweh and his true covenant and always will. I see no need to get rid of the perfect Torah.
