Could it be a descendant of us from the future and going back in time to visit us?
If that technology would be from Earth then wars would not be fought the way they are today…in that case the ones that have this shit would probably have achieved world domination and put their Dick in the Ass of the ones that doesn't have that stuff…looks like this guys (wherever they come from) are not hostile
The problem with extraterrestrials is light speed. It would take generations for them to travel here unless warp travel is possible…and even then, it would take a long time to transit to the next closest system.
