I want to thank you for your strong reminder of the holy ghost, Grace Digital Network! Additionally, please be reminded that all scripture is addressed to all humans, but not all is exactly addressed to us! For instance is the earthly Jesus not for all humans, but for Israel only, as he said in Matthew 15:24. And Paul called Christ a servant of Israel for confirming the promises of the fathers, Rom 15:8. Please be aware of that – that means, that the four gospel accounts are addressed to Israel only!
But God sent Paul to be an apostle for the nations, as he himself clearly said in Gal 2:7-8. Paul was chosen from God to complete the word of God, πληρῶσαι τὸν λόγον τοῦ Θεοῦ, Col 1:15. You may read that for yourself, please. Does that really mean that there has changed nothing? No, by no means! There appeared the need for rightfully cutting the word of the truth, ὀρθοτομοῦντα τὸν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας, as 2 Tim 2:15 clearly tells and which many believing Christ lovers fail to do, because they have no clue of the need, nor how to do it! The key to do this is simple – from all the revelations in the word of God Paul´s are the latest and most normative! In other words, we are supposed to follow especially Paul while of course examining the rest of the scripture – this prevents from falling into deep holes of discouragements by believing that we must follow the gospel Jesus quasi one-on-one! But nothing could be further from the truth – according to Paul, there is no condemnation on any sins, Rom 8:1, not even the sin of blasphemy, that Jesus himself declared unforgivable, read the whole text Mark 3:20-29! According to Paul, there is no unforgivable sin!
And Paul tells something wonderful about the holy spirit, for he connects him with believing in Christ, 1 Cor 12:3 tells that as a fact – there is no believing without the holy spirit! And Eph 1:13 has another tidbit – that we, as the text tells, are sealed with the spirit of promise being holy, ἐσφραγίσθητε τῷ πνεύματι τῆς ἐπαγγελίας τῷ ἁγίῳ! And another thing is different in Paul´s letters – rather that that we choose God by free will, Paul tells the opposite: God chooses us instead, Eph 1:4 tells so! (This builds on the word of Jesus in John 6:44, that nobody can come to Jesus unless the father draws him/her!)…
