  1. Revelations tells us exactly who the bride is…

I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a BRIDE ADORNED FOR HER HUSBAND…..

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls, who were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I WILL SHOW YOU THE WIFE, THE LAMB’S BRIDE.” He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
    Revelation 21:2‭, ‬9‭-‬10

    Confirmed in Ezra…

For behold, the time shall come, and it shall be, when these tokens, of which I told you before, shall come to pass, that the bride shall appear, even the city coming forth, and she shall be seen, that now is withdrawn from the earth.
    2 Esdras 7:26

Our Messiah does not call us the bride, he refers to us as guests…

Jesus said to them, “Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.
    Mark 2:19

We are the guests not the bride…

“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren’t worthy. Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.’ Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
    Matthew 22:8‭-‬10

She is our Mother according to scripture…

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
    Galatians 4:26

I pray that this helps 😀

Matthew 25 calls them maids, and so many of us have been taught that they are brides…in Hebrew wedding cultural traditions, the 10 young women would be the bridal party, not additional brides. They were all supposed to go feast and celebrate once the groom arrived.

In the parable the groom arrived late and half of the wedding party was not prepared, and had to go buy more oil for their lamps, and thus arrived late at the wedding celebration, and were turned away at the door when they arrived late. It is also worth noting that contextually, this parable appears to be building upon and amplifying what was taught in the previous parable which was about preparedness for our coming Messiah…

The audience to whom the parable was given revealed earlier in the text was primarily Jewish, and would be quite familiar with that wedding custom, and the emphasis would be on the preparedness and missing the wedding moreso than anything else described…
