I believe that the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven will be able to hold everyone that is chosen to be there.
Yet I knock at your door and you will turn away…
I normally like your video’s but on this one you speak of things that are incorrect.
#1. You say that Jesus can only show Himself in one place at one time. What do you do with the scripture “…and every eye shall see Him on that day.” (Referring to the 2nd coming.). Also “EVERY eye will see and EVERY tongue will confess that He is Lord.” This is showing that He will be seen by everybody on the planet, at the same time, no matter where they are.
#2. We cannot so a-firmly say that Jesus will only show Himself in one place at one time. Jesus can do what He wants, when He wants and anytime and how ever He wants to do it. There are no scriptures which make your claim that He will only be at one place at one time. Though I do see evidence that He will come to Jerusalem.
#3. When Jesus was speaking over Jerusalem saying that “your house has left you desolate”, He was speaking of the destruction of the Temple by the Romans in just 40 years after His death. Of course it will happen to the whole world at His 2nd coming, but in that particular scripture He was talking about the Destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. This is also why He turned over the tables in the Temple and chased out the money changers with a whip. He was prophesying of what was going to happen in 70 A.D. Jesus also referred to this event in Matthew 24:15.
15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’[a] spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. 18 Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. 19 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! 20 Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. “
If we will read the historically proven account of the Destruction of the Temple by Josephus “The Wars of the Jews”, we will see that this is what actually happened already. The reason Jesus specifically brought up the nursing mothers, is because in this historic account, because of starvation, the Jews ate their own children, as they have done before.
Lord Jesus please enter the hearts of the scoffers and mockers. I ask this in the name of the precious blood you shed for our iniquity, amen. Skip
