I was vegan for four years. Then I was in the forward Ukrainian trenches with special operations detachment Azov, the heroes of Mariupol. They were having a steak bbq my first night on the front line, so I made the choice to eat the same food as them so that I didn’t seem like an outsider. That was my decision as a dedicated photographer. I often eat vegetarian and vegan now, whenever I want, and if I want to go full vegan again, I will. And I won’t care what any meat head back home living his comfortable life says about me.
It's not only the animals what do you think about all the bad carma you comsume it's a spiritual thing.
When you have a "relationship" with something, you nurture it, appreciate it, love it, you respect and honor
its' life– by not murdering it. You do not need to murder your dog or cat in order to have a special relationship with it.
Your anger would flare if someone shot your dog, or skinned it in front of you, or put an apple in its' mouth and brought it to the thanksgiving table. A fair fight is where both parties have an EQUAL chance at something, thats' a sport. Stalking a gentle animal trying to live its' life in nature is not a sport, its' murder– called hunting. The animal has no chance against a high powered rifle
or bow and arrow. Studies show that hunters have low self=esteem, low masculinity, and make up for these issues by being
the bully totally in control. Hunted animals are victims, so hunters, are victimizers. Hunters get a rise in self esteem and
sexual highs when they kill. Unfortunately, similar habits to psychopaths and serial killers, who also have no empathy or compassion for their victims, and also enjoy what they do.. It is true, most humans buy the dead carcass in the market and consume it without
any empathy or compassion. Eating the flesh and blood of dead animals is an addiction for most humans. The need to kill is a
disturbing part of some humans enjoyment. Yet these same humans would angrily and fiercely defend their own animals
and family if they were ever threatened in any way. And justify hunting with every excuse imaginable, like "conservation". I doubt anything I say or show will change someone's enjoyment at killing, and that need to dominate and control anothers' life. Peace be with you.
