"All those involved in killing, consenting the killing, helping the killing, carrying, selling, buying, cooking and eating the meat of an animal are equally sinful as the killing of that animal." Kindly read The Bhagavad-Gītā As It Is, please, Hare KRSNA.
Vegans are some of the most stuck up pushy people I've ever came across. So many of them think being vegan is a personality trait
I live on a farm, even though I trained as a lawyer the call to go back to farming won, suppose it is in my blood with at least 5 generation of farmers behind me. I did the whole veggie thing when at University, until I became very ill and was told to start eating meat or land up dying. That was over 20 years ago and I went back to meat, will NEVER give it up now. Our farm is family run and not factory based. The cows leave us when they have to but they have had a good life, they wouldn't have survived without us. Even when they are indoors for the winter they are fed twice a day, have water, etc. They have access to fields if they want to go out. There are farms near us and the cows never go out, personally I find that cruel. Bring back family farms not the super farms. Alan Savory, he is on the net has transformed my thinking and he says that cattle are good for the environment, that we should have more of them and not less of them. They help store carbon in the ground. They have transformed barren land. I strongly suggest that you check him out.
to the family farm is a environmental hazard is offensive .If it where not for the farmers you all would starve
