I'm a mormon, I disagree with these gentlemen. ❤
The Book of Mormon is the evidence of Joseph Smith. If the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith was as true a prophet as Moses or Isaiah. If the Book of Mormon is false, he is one of the most intelligent, capable and ingenious people ever born. It all rests on whether the Book of Mormon is actually the word of God, equal to the Bible or it isn't. To know that for yourself, you will have to take an in depth, open minded and sincere study of the Book of Mormon. Sadly, only few are willing to take up that challenge. Well an atheist like that complaining because they can't control everyone elses belief systems sounds just as bad as any cult leader worse maybe because he's actively degrading others and many preachers or pastors just focus on their own congregation without needing to condemn non believers. Historically there is fault with faith in medicine too plenty of malpractice and error so religion isn't perfect but neither is science and people constantly project on to others I can't really respect someone that refuses to acknowledge the possibility of soul or spirit that's like a scientist that refuses to acknowledge germs existed hundreds of years ago because they couldn't be seen just called people crazy that said wash your hands so you don't spread disease so now if religious routines have helped people remain healthy of mind body and spirit why dispute that either? Some truths are subjective and some are not. I can say I don't believe in God or love and that be true but who am I to tell someone else no you are not in love or they have not had a religious experience if they claim they are or have? I'm more of a theist actually I believe in the possibility of a God but I don't bother to worship any anymore .
