I would love to hear Joes view on this now that he’s lived in Texas.
Dawkins drops comments he wouldn't if he was debating academics like John Lennox, where in the old testament did the Jews offer human sacrifice,??!! it was those that worshipped Molech (the devil) that did that! And he know that – he's being very dishonest!- Just because the BIble talks about it doesn't mean it was the Christians that did that. And why does he just say old testament because he knows that the new testament is amazing when it talks about our Lord Jesus Christ – who changed all that..why doesn't he talk about Jesus.
You can't be an atheist,. The belief is in the absense of something. You could be a high leaning agnostic like 99.9%,. We get our moral values all over, family, religion, culture, education and philosophy to name a few. Atheism has not gone up it has stayed around 15%, Muslim is the fastest growing.
God is responsible for morality.
