Sad that such a smart person can be so shallow in their thinking
he sure may be right. but I would pay a lot of money to have him try dmt or 5meo and listen to his thoughts after that trip. not immediately after. maybe 6 months after.
can def. believe that he would have the same convictions. but could just as well believe otherwise.
point being, I guess, this is likely something we will never figure out. and once we do, we're probably gonna be on the same level what we think "god" would be.
Feels like Joe tryin to get Dawkins do drugs
Dawkins brings up a great point in this video. "Eternity is best spent under a general anesthetic." Would you really want to be persistently conscious for trillions, upon trillions of years? It's not to say that the Universe isn't infinite, but your current brain most certainly isn't. But what if there was a different way to go about being immortal? I know this may sound crazy to some people, but what if the universe is smarter than we are? I don't believe it to be impossible for a universe to produce an exact replica of your current brain again but in a different space and time. I think that's also a very plausible outcome with regards to an afterlife. And if your brain is produced again at another point in space and time along an infinite continuum, well then that kind of solves the problem of having to be conscious consistently for trillions upon trillions of years. And when you're dead time has no meaning, so infinity will pass you by in what seems to be a matter of seconds and then you probably just pop into existence again as your brain is just another manifestation of a universe. Think about what it was like before you were born. Did it feel like you had to wait a long time? Absolutely not. We are life, that's all we know. We will never experience death. No one ever experiences death because the only time we're ever conscious is during life. So therefore there's nothing to worry about. You won't even know that you're dead; the only possibility is that you will know you're alive again.
Your not in heaven for long before your reborn to do it all again
