People think relationships are transactional. When really its more of a posture of compromisable past time for trivial pursuits.
I, for one, don't care for the idea of being used to fulfill someone else's needs. Nor do I placate the notion that my needs have to be fulfilled either.
I find it's better to let all the ideological bullshit run to the wayside as opposed to predeternining how my partner should respond to me as a person.
In the end, longevity is way better then short term gains, yo
