Personaly, I think sobriety is over rated, I used to drink daily but was never an alcoholic. I have no idea why, maybe because i never liked the actual act of drinking. but loved the scene and the buzz. Cant say the same for other substances. but addicted or not Substance use is more than an addiction, Its a culture, a way of life. Its almost as it defines you. without it, its like part of you disappears and thats why its so hard to overcome.
Humans being creatures of habit mixed with an addiction is never Bueno
