The prime reason the Jesus returns, is to commit Satan to Hell. Those that fall short of God’s forgiveness in judgement will be sent to spend eternity with Satan in the same place.
Until that time there is the opportunity to choose to follow Jesus, and turn away from a life of sin.
The first step may appear to be easy, but following through in life, needs commitment to call upon the Holy Spirit’s support, aid and guidance to keep standing in the righteousness of Jesus that has been prepared for us. See Romans 5 for details.
