  1. At the end there, about that 70's case, and the 2001 patriot act, and the 2010 citizens united case…. sure seems like corporate governance is coming and in part already here. Totalitarianism. I hope i am wrong

  2. My problem with Snowden is twofold: First he stole and then published government secrets that he was paid to keep within the intelligence apparatus. He damaged the security and reputation of the United States. Second: He takes issue with the very nature of telecommunications & commerce in the 21st century. It’s how we live. Of course our devices know a lot about us and we lose some privacy because of that. Because we use mobile phones, my wife and children are safer and they are able to use these tools to make their day easier. I don’t care if the government knows where I’ve been, or where I am. 400 million people in America use cellular devices every day. For 95% of people none of this matters because we are not criminals and are therefore uninteresting to those that harvest this data. He’s worried about something that’s not a problem for the vast majority of us.

  3. Last time I went deep into Mexico about 3 yrs ago, I messed up and took my personal phone. My people had somebody pick it up, wrap it in aluminum foil, and sent it anywhere where I wasn't. Does anybody know if this actually worked? Back in the day down there we'd get the cheap burner flip phones and take the battery out. Of course it didn't look too good when the military pulls you over and you have 3 different phones. Family, legit business and illegitimate business 🤣🤣
