I have observed the exact same thing with help of cannabis. The way it appeared to me is that human personality is a pretense and people are not really conscious of it. The funny thing was that my little niece aged approximately 8 was next to all the adults whom I was seeing, and what I observed was that she was pretending too, but she was doing it consciously and had not lost awareness of it. What was even more mind boggling is that when we looked at each other, she immediately noticed that I know that she is playing a game, and that she is aware of other people's unawareness, and she winked at me to show that. This is one of the most eye opening experience of my life.
How did I know this guy would talk about Sybil and also know that he had never fucked someone that spoke different languages before?
